Lumbar disc replacement day!
CASE ONE
A car accident can lead to severe spine and neck injuries. Following his accident, this young patient had an endoscopic discectomy to correct radiculopathy. Although this relieved his sciatica pain, ongoing severe back pain led us to perform a lumbar disc replacement with Dr Pell.
CASE TWO
For our second case, our patient had a very painful annular tear. After attempting non-operative care, we ultimately decided to perform a lumbar disc replacement.
