Stay Hydrated

With temperatures expected to rise into the 90’s by next week it’s important to remember to stay hydrated this time of year. The human body is made up of 60-70% water and it is required for every system in your body to function properly. Water also allows nutrients to travel to the major organs, remove waste, and maintain function in the joints, organs, and most importantly, the spine! Staying hydrated is essential to both relieving back pain and your overall health. When your body doesn’t have enough water, it can’t perform at its best. Try to drink eight large glasses of water throughout your day or eat fruits and vegetables that have a high concentration of water, such as watermelon, cucumber, lettuce, cantaloupe, and celery. Stay #hydrated and stay #healthy!
