- Apply ice to your back: As soon as you fall and start to have pain, put ice on your back pain for around 20 minutes to help alleviate the tension in your back. Keep applying ice every 6 hours throughout 2-3 days.
- Drink water: It’s important to drink water to keep your spine hydrated and nourished. Keeping your back hydrated helps your spine joints and muscles to heal themselves.
- Sleep in a comfortable position: It’s important that you sleep in a good position. If you don’t, you can cause more pain in your back. If you sleep on your back, put pillows under your knees. If you sleep on your side, put a pillow between your legs.
