Spinal fusion when done properly and for the right reasons can give the patient great relief. But who, in their right mind would want a fusion over painless motion? In the 40 years that I have been a spine surgeon the majority of the research money has gone into fusions. Perhaps it’s time to rethink that.#therealdrc716
