Spinal bone density test

Spine bone density shows how strong your spine is. You can get a spinal bone density test to see where your bone density is at. Getting a spinal bone density test also helps to see if you have osteoporosis. Bone density testing is also done to see your risk of broken bones, and identify decreases in bone density before you break a bone. If you receive a bone density of -1 or less, your bone density is considered normal. If it is between -1 and -2.5, you may have osteopenia which could lead to osteoporosis. If your bone density score is less than -2.5, you most likely have osteoporosis.
