Fall and Winter are the most common seasons for back injuries from falling. It’s important that if you happen to slip and fall onto your back that you do the right things to make sure your back is okay and recovers. The first thing you should do is not panic and check your body for any pain or injuries. The next thing you should do is to go home and rest. Using a cold compress on your back can help to relieve any pain. You should apply the cold compress to the area of pain for 20 minutes at a time every 3-4 hours. You should also avoid any activities that require you to use your back such as lifting.
