Good Lordosis + Minimally Invasive Surgery

  • Post category:Medical

Although this patient has a 47º lordosis (natural inward curvature) and no problem with flatback (lack of curvature), they still blew out the L2-3 disc. But still, good lordosis is great!

For this minimally invasive procedure, I used cortical screws that allowed for a smaller incision.

Let me show you where and how these screws need to be placed, and how it affects the trajectory for this MI spinal revision and fusion.
