Strength Training: Prioritize Proper Form

  • Post category:Exercise

Think quality, not quantity. Lifting weights is a great form of strength training, but proper form is key to getting the most out of your workout.

3 reps may not seem like a lot for a particular exercise, but I recommend focusing on progress, not speed. Sure, going fast can help develop power, but prioritizing speed over form can lead to injuries like muscle strains, sprains, and tears. Plus, it won’t get you the results you want.

Know your limits. Practice proper form. And get those gains!
